Fontina Ristorante - Healthy Pleasanton Italian Tonight?

Fontina Ristorante Pleasanton – Another of the many Italian restaurants in downtown Pleasanton, Fontina offers a nice selection of non-pasta items on their menu.  They, like many other downtown Pleasanton restaurants offer brunch on the weekends.  Regardless of whether you go to Fontina for Brunch, Lunch or Dinner you certainly can find plenty of appropriate selections if fat loss and being healthy are your goal.


Before you head out to the Fontina Ristorante in Pleasanton check out my choices below from their menu.

Brunch Menu on the weekends…you’ll want to pass on the complimentary glass of champagne if fat loss is your goal
  • Morning Blast - Three eggs, three crispy honey baked bacons served with roasted Yukon gold potatoes and fresh fruit
  • Eye OpenerThree eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes,and fresh fruits.
  • Most of the Omelets look excellent (Seafood, House, or Chicken Cajun) – I didn’t include the Mediterranean because it doesn’t have meat…but it’s still a great option




Lunch Menu

Appetizers
  • Caprese
  • Smoked Salmon
  • Fruit & Prosciutto
  • House Salad


Salads
  • Organic Mixed Greens
  • Baby Spinach & Pear
  • Egg & Bacon Spring Mix

Sandwiches – only half the bread and watch the toppings like mayo…great sides here with each item being served with a small salad and fruit
  • Grilled Chicken Breast
  • Chicken & Mango
  • Smoked Salmon

Entrée – definitely avoid this pasta section of the menu for fat loss as this will give you too much sugar

House Specialties – this section of the menu is where you should head for better fat loss selections
  • Pork Chops
  • Chicken Marsala
  • Lamb Shank
  • Blackberry Salmon
